Behind The Bendy Box
The Bendy Box was born out of firsthand experience with chronic illness. Allison, the heart behind it all, knows the daily struggles of managing pain, fatigue, and unpredictable symptoms. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, Orthostatic Intolerance, Spondylolysis, and Arthritis—and still working to determine if there's more—she understands just how much chronic conditions impact everyday life.
Frustrated by the lack of understanding and resources tailored to people like her, she created The Bendy Box—designed with comfort, practicality, and a whole lot of heart.
Allison runs The Bendy Box alongside her husband, Drew, whose behind-the-scenes support helps bring her vision to life. He’s seen the ups and downs of chronic illness firsthand, making sure The Bendy Box is built with both practicality and compassion in mind.
When she’s not working on The Bendy Box, Allison is a full-time mom, chauffeur, cheerleader, and occasional referee for their three kids.
